She is the champion of season 27 of The American television show Dancing with the Stars, where she has also been a runner-up in many other seasons. She has also been a mediator on the Australian version of the show since 2019.

Sharna Burgess was born in Wagga Wagga, Australia on 21st June 1985. Despite being a tomboy, Burgess organizes a love for dance. Growing up, she was implicated in many sports and various styles of dance. At the age of five, she started equipping in ballet, jazz, and gymnastics.

When she swiveled eight, her study of ballroom started, and she went on to defeat many local and national titles.
