With barely a month to go, the marketing campaign for the upcoming Justice League movie has reached its highest pitch, and DCEU is doing every possible thing to stoke fan curiosity.

A new trailer has been released which is likely to be the last one and shows the entire team of Justice League beating the parademons, and it is freaking good. The trailer begins softly and then slides into adrenaline-pumping scenes showing the “Heroes” of David Bowie pull at your heartstrings. In the middle of all the action, the most frightening and destructive power of the supervillain Steppenwolf is revealed.

It seems that he has the power to convert various creatures into parademons because one of the warriors was shown getting turned into the evil creature. Right from General Zod from Man of Steel to the Ares in Wonder Woman, there has been no evil like this. He is akin to the Night King who is capable of using dead men as white walkers. However, in case the movie decides to follow the storyline of the comic-books then this joint squad of Amazonians and Atlanteans will thwart Steppenwolf and prevent him from adding several thousands of parademons to his evil army. However, humans will have a terrible time as thousands of them will be sitting ducks for the Steppenwolf. Also, the Superman is dead and will make a comeback only in the later part of the film.

The Justice League has a mighty star cast that includes Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder-woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). This Zack Snyder directorial venture is written by Chris Terrio and features DC comics characters. The story follows the timeline of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and represents the Phase 1 of the DC Cinematic Universe. The film is the grandest collection of DC Superheroes who come together to fight a monstrous enemy Steppenwolf.

We saw Superman die at the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Batman and Wonder Woman had started out to put together the Justice League which was a superhero league formed to take on the potent adversary Steppenwolf who had been woken up by the events of the movie. He is the military general of Darkseid who dispatched a force of parademons to kidnap various Earth scientists and Batman. He intended to torture them and capture ApokoliptianMotherbox, the most powerful object in the whole universe.

Up to now, the focus has been on the Batman played by Ben Affleck as he is the person in charge of setting up this special superhero squad that will guard the planet from imminent destruction. This is what the old synopsis also suggested.

Have a look at it:

“In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of meta-humans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions”.

However, the new synopsis puts the spotlight on Wonder Woman. You can see it here.

“Once again, Wonder Woman must demonstrate her ability as a fierce warrior. Facing a great enemy, she and Batman join forces to recruit a group of meta-humans to stand against this newly awakened threat. Having formed an unprecedented League of heroes, they set out to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”

There is a great deal of excitement among the vast legions of DC fans as they eagerly wait for the mega team up movie Justice League which will release on November 17, 2017. The film’s test screenings have got rave reviews, and a lot of people have gone on to call the film “EPIC.”

The Justice League releases on November 17, 2017.
