7. Toy story
It goes without saying that one of the greatest attractions to Celebration is the opportunity to stalk aisles of collectibles, stock, and toys. From the first Kenner toys to the most recent from Lego, Hasbro, Funko, and Mattel, this tradition makes our inner 10-year-old squee. Apart from the booths, which are staffed by both autonomous dealers and significant makers, the vast majority of the previously mentioned toy producers will hold panels exhibiting their products, with the attention being on the 40th anniversary.
8. The game is on
Star Wars has a variable legacy when it comes to computer games. However, recently things have been on the rise with a solid suite of mobile games and 2015’s revived Battlefront, which puts gamers inside notorious saga fights. EA guarantees a first glimpse at the sequel amid its gaming panel on Saturday. It has relevantly been titled The Galaxywide Premiere of Star Wars Battlefront II. While it may not exactly be the galaxy-wide debut because of a spilled trailer, we can hardly wait to see Yoda, Rey, Darth Maul, and Kylo Ren exploding through scenes on Starkiller Base and Hoth, and emerged with huge space dogfights.
9. Food is on too…
Right from that first blue bantha milk smoothie served by Aunt Beru, food has been an oddly vital piece of Star Wars. Celebration offers a lot of food with panels like Food and Fandom: Star Wars Recipes, Star Wars Food Collectibles, and The Art of Japanese Star Wars Vegetable Carving. Yippee.
