Lori Linston, mother of YouTuber Olivia Jade Giannulli and her father Mossimo Giannulli have not interacted with their daughter while being locked up in prison for partaking in the infamous college admissions scandal where they offered
the rowing crew team of the University of Southern Carolina $500,000 as bribery to accept their daughters into the rowing team despite lacking any rowing training or experience. Giannulli is a 21 year old YouTuber, social media celebrity and the daughter of actor Lori Linson and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli.

She has amassed over a million followers in both Instagram and YouTube. The fraudulent college admission scandal brought her under a bigger spotlight than before. Giannulli was born on September 28th, 1999, in Los Angeles, California and graduated from Marymount High School.

In 2017, she crashed her car while singing along to Stevie Wonder’s ‘Signed Sealed Delivered, I’m Yours’ which was filmed on her mobile phone and sparked concerns about her callousness while driving among her social media followers.

Giannulli’s success on social media got her endorsements with Sephora, Amazon and many other companies, thus helping her monetize her videos. However, the 2019 college bribery scandal caused Sephora and TRESemmé to drop her as commercial partners.

She reportedly dropped out of USC due to the fear of being bullied in university. The public shamed and ridicule the YouTuber, which also caused her to receive death threats. The comment sections of her social media swarmed with hate and criticism from the masses,

causing her to disable the comments feature on her Instagram. She broke her silence regarding the issue in December, 2019 via a YouTube video but did not address the situation in a direct manner since he was legally barred from doing so.

USC confirmed that the Giannulli sisters were no longer enrolled in the university but they did not confirm whether they had been expelled or not.
