Molly was noticed by retired director and producer Martin Beck when she performed in the two-act ballet Nutcracker at the age of six.

He agreed to coach her after recognizing her potential. At the age of 12, she auditioned at the Young Actors Studios, where she performed for Linda Seto, representative of Osbrink Talent.
