Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has turned out to be a popular show among fans, and Ming-Na Wen who plays agent Melinda May on the show was recently at Heroes & Villains Fan Fest Atlanta where she was asked about her choice of DC Comics character that he would love to play.

Wen’s answer came without any hesitation: Catwoman.

Catwoman? Yeah, I could be Catwoman,” Wen answered. “I would make an awesome Catwoman,” she told the applauding crowd and wrapped up her answer by imitating the iconic “meow.” Warner Bros. has declared that they are making the Batman/Suicide Squad spinoff titled Gotham City Sirens which will be the DC Cinematic Universe debut for Catwoman and Poison Ivy. The two female villains will join the Joker’s insane girlfriend, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie).

Haley Bennett (The Girl on the Train) might ultimately get the role, and Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) said “why the f—k am I not?” in response to a question from a fan about why she was not going to play the feline hunter. Recently, we have seen Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver) being speculated to be the one to put on the leather costume of Selina Kyle, and there was probably a Catwomaneaster egg in Justice League.

Wen’s continuing to play her role on the ABC series into its fifth season where May and her team will venture into outer space to fight aliens.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be back on ABC on December 1, but, there is no release date scheduled for Gotham City Sirens at present.
