Megyn Marie Kelly is an American-born journalist, talk show host, political commentator, and attorney. Megyn was born on 18th November 1970 in Champaign, Illinois, United States. She was born to parents Edward and Linda, and raised in a Catholic household.
Megyn obtained her undergraduate degree from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. She had a degree in Political Science. She also attended the Albany Law School and earned a J.D. in 1995.

Megyn worked in Bickel & Brewer LLP (located in Chicago) as an associate attorney and had also co-authored an article on Litigation for the American Bar Association’s published journal. In 2003, after moving to Washington D.C., Megyn was offered a position on WJLA-TV affiliated to ABC as a general assignment reporter and had covered important hearings and political events including the 2004 Presidential elections.

In 2004, Megyn joined Fox News and had her own segment called Kelly’s Court which she did during Weekend Live. While working with Fox News, she hosted American Live and was a co-host on America’s Newsroom. She also earned a place in the TIME list of 100 most influential people in 2014.

After leaving her job with Fox News, Megyn joined NBC in 2017 and hosted her own program called the Megyn Kelly Show. In 2018, over a controversy where the show had discussed Blackface, it was cancelled and in 2019 she finally left NBC. Megyn is currently married to Douglas Brunt and the couple has 3 children together.
