Many people feel that it would be wrong to make Batman battle a superhero because he is just a normal man without any superpowers and is assisted by some gadgets and combat skills. Most of them believe that the premise of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was absurd as Superman could have killed the Batman in less than a second.
This is absolutely wrong because Batman has always prevailed over mightiest of enemies and he is someone who is always a step ahead of his enemies in the planning, and that’s why he is such a dangerous person to take on. Barring some MCU characters who might be able to put up a fight against him, none stands a chance to beat him. Let’s check some of those who will be dead meat in a battle against the Dark Knight.
1. SPIDER-MAN
It won’t be a cakewalk for Batman against the Spider-Man, especially if he has the spider sense available to his MCU character. However, Batman is a great strategist and improviser who will not stop short of innovating new ways to take the Spidey down.
2. BLACK WIDOW
Black Widow is quite a match for Batman as she also combats without any superpowers and is an expert assassin who kills mercilessly. Batman is likely to attack her emotional part and weaken her by either bringing up her Red Room past or her emotions for Bruce Banner. He might just use the fear toxin to bring her down to her knees.
3. WINTER SOLDIER
Winter Soldier regrets the things that he did when he was under the influence of HYDRA, and that’s something which Batman might exploit against him. That would bring the hero down with guilt and Batman might not even need to raise his hand to defeat this powerful ally and best pal of Captain America.
4. IRON MAN
Tony Stark is Marvel’s version of Bruce Wayne. Both are wealthy vigilantes aided by self-created/funded gadgets. The difference is that Tony is what he is, but, Bruce Wayne is just a demo appearance for the Batman and a front to keep his real identity hidden. Tony is just an excitable boy in comparison to the shrewd Dark Knight who is most likely to be able to disarm Tony Stark and then the outcome won’t be difficult to guess.
5. DOCTOR STRANGE
The almighty sorcerer can bend time and space and is one of the most powerful beings in MCU. Despite all that, Batman’s research and preparation can overcome this arrogant magician. Batman is someone who doesn’t mind bending the rules and delivering below the belt blows to beat his rivals, and that’s how he will bring the overconfident sorcerer down. He is not a combatant, and if Batman stealthily takes out his cape and Eye of Agamotto, then he would not be difficult to beat.
6. BLACK PANTHER
T’Challa also has origins similar to Bruce Wayne. His father died in a terrorist bombing, and he had to take over as Black Panther to protect Wakanda. He is a cool and deadly enemy compared to Bruce. However, once Batman uses his tricks and gadgets to get him out of his Vibranium layered suit, he would be vulnerable to Batman’s combat prowess.
7. CAPTAIN AMERICA
This straightforward guy powered by Super Soldier Serum which enhances his strength, speed and healing process. He is highly resilient, and this was evident when he said “I can do this all day” during his fight with Iron Man at the end of Captain America: Civil War. The thing to watch out here is that Batman has no fair play rules like Steve Rogers and he won’t mind bypassing the Vibraniumfrisbee and directly attack the man behind it.
