Gabriel Luna has impressed a large number of Agents of SHIELD fans with his portrayal of Robbie Reyes a.k.a. Ghost Rider. The film versions of the series didn’t do very well and its sequel featuring Nicolas Cage as Johnny Blaze’s incarnation) also failed to find much favor with the fans. However, the character’s popularity as a part of Agents of SHIELD has only soared, and now fans are pitching for another adaptation of the Ghost Rider.
Some fans want a new movie whereas others are clamoring for a new Marvel show to be added to its Netflix list. The four leading defenders will team up for the combined series, and the franchise has expanded beyond its original plans by creating a separate show for The Punisher after the character became a major attraction in season two of their hit show Daredevil.
All things taken into account, it is quite logical that Ghost Rider should get its own Netflix show, right? Considering what Luna told to a website recently, this might be in the works. He said:
“It’s been talked about; there’s definitely deals in place for that potential. But I just take it one day at a time. I have so much fun now I just want to make sure I get these episodes right. If they throw more episodes on my plate, I will do my best to do well with those stories as well.”
Apparently, Luna won’t mind playing Ghost Rider as long as he can, and he doesn’t seem to have any problems in taking on more. What do you say? Would you love to see Ghost Rider on Netflix?
