She started skiing at the age of two and was trained by Erich Sailer, her father’s former couch. In 1997, Lindsey and her family moved to Colorado and started training under skiing coaches Todd A Rash, Reid Phillips, Gus Pernetz.

Lindsey achieved the overall World cup title, and she is the second American woman with maximum World Cup downhill victories. In 2009, she became the first woman to win the world super-G title in the World Championship, held in Val-d’isere, France.

The announcement came before the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, though she decided to continue till the end of the season. In the 2018 Winter Olympics, the Skier got the sixth place in Women’s super-G and earned bronze in downhill.
