She is a part of the South Korean girl group Dal Shabet. Jiyul was born on 30th July 1991, in Seoul, South Korea. She followed Dongduk Women’s University.
With her fellow members of Dal Shabet, Jiyul made her official debut. On 3rd November, 2011, Jiyul came to be a presenter for SBS MTV’s K-Pop 20. Jiyul earned her acting debut as a cameo arrival in Papa in 2012.
