Jeremy Renner aka The Hawkeye of MCU has shared a visual of his Avengers: Infinity War costume with the fans. The star used Instagram to share a set photo teasing about what’s in store in the upcoming mega film.

The photograph featured Renner’s silhouette in the backdrop of a concrete wall. We can see a quiver full of arrows on his right shoulder, by the side of his high-collared top. He captioned the photo “Costume on point today … what do you think?” with a winking emoji.

The most important thing here is his tagging “Infinity War” on the post, but, the film wrapped up shooting back in July. Now it implies that either the film is under reshoots or Renner has made a mistake as he is shooting for Avengers 4 which began filming in August. The Avengers member was seen on the set of Avengers 4 in October, and he was apparently dressed in the Ronin outfit of the character.

The previous photos had shown Renner in black boots with gold trim, which is in sync with his comic book identity of Ronin when Barton gave up his bow and arrows in favor of two katanas after the Civil War to keep his real identity under wraps. Amidst this new costume and the shorter haircut as well as the arm tattoo of the character, we feel that Clint Barton will be seen in the Ronin makeover and that could be the reason why Renner shared this tease.

Marvel Studio’s Avengers: Infinity War will release in theaters on May 4, 2018. The film is directed by Russo brothers and stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie. The presently untitled Avengers 4 is scheduled to release on May 3, 2019.
