Ivy Queen had developed a passion for music at a young age and attended the New Jersey School of Performing Arts. Her studio album Musa (2012) was nominated for a Grammy. Soon enough Ivy Queen had earned the distinction of being one of the pioneers of the genre of reggaeton and was even nicknamed the Queen of Reggaeton.
