Details have been coming out about the Justice League movie in and they have brought turmoil in regards to the movie.
Let us see what the turmoil is all about.
It one likes like Batman v Superman, well, think again. Most people hated it. Besides the off-beat pacing, pretentious dialogues, the crazy story, and the horrendous climax, there is a problem that we delve in deeper about.
Dawn of Justice and Man of Steel are fundamental misunderstandings of the characters.
See, if you want to make Batman a murderer, we can live with that. But, only if you are going to do something with it. The movie does not acknowledge that Batman kills people. From the imagery of bats to his beliefs about people, Batman’s character is mishandled for being more “badass”.
Superman comes off worst. We have had depressed anti-heroes guys and we have too many of them due to the eighties/nineties and the wave of gritty angst-ridden heroes. But the style and tone clashes with the appeal of Superman.
Say there is an interesting story to be told about humanity that some of us missed? We don’t care. The movie should have never twisted Superman to try and fit their vision because that defeats the purpose of an adaptation.
While the news seems desperate to convince people that Justice League will have a super light tone and be straight-forward in the adaptation some fans have 3 problems with the movie. The tone was not the source of the problem, it is the same characters and visionaries behind the ones who made Dawn of Justice and the world has not been built well enough for the story to work in less than 4 hours.
Maybe the Justice League movie will be good. Some fans cannot seem to bring themselves to forgive the missteps of the world and the characters.
Wrapping Up…
Some fans would like to see the movie flop, but it is not fair for the anti-fans to impose that on anyone else.
