The American mixed martial artist Holly Holm is the former champion of UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship. Holly shares a very close bonding with her parents. Holly and her father are in a partnership with a real estate company. She believes in Churches of Christ.
She was born on 17th October in 1981 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in the U.S. Her parents are Tammy and Roger. She is of Irish descent. From her childhood, Holly played soccer and participated in diving, swimming, and gymnastics. Holly studied at the University of New Mexico for a year.

Holly began her career in kickboxing and boxing when she was 16. In 2001, she won the IKF USA National Amateur Championship Tournament. In 2002, Holly made her debut professionally with a fight against Martha Deitchman. After five months, Holly made her debut in kickboxing. She won 33 kickboxing matches with only three draws and two losses.

She became the winner of the World Welterweight Titles and the WBF Female World Light Welterweight as well. In 2011. Holly made her debut in mixed martial arts and fought against Christina Domke. In 2013, she took retirement from boxing after a match against Mary Grace.

The following year, Holly signed a deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Her breakthrough performance came in 2015 with the Women’s Bantamweight Championship. She won the match. In 2017, Holly won against Bethe Correia at UFC Fight Night. In the Women’s Bantamweight Championship in 2019, she lost against Amanda Nunes.

In 2020, she faced Irene Aldana and won it. In 2016, Holly made her debut in a featured film Fight Valley with Cris Cyborg and Miesha Tate. From 2012-2019, she was married to Jeff Kirkpatrick.
