Kim Aeri, better known by her professional name Giselle, is a Japanese-Korean singer and rapper. She was born on 30th October, 2000 in Seoul South Korea to a Korean mother and Japanese father. Giselle is also an athlete and had represented her school in the 2017 Outdoor Season in High Jump.
Giselle cleared her audition in SM Entertainment and was enlisted as a trainee by the company. She made her debut into kpop in 2020, when she was revealed as a member of the girl group Aespa in a press conference by SM Entertainment’s founder Lee Soo Man on October 28th, 2020.

2 days later, on 30th October, Giselle was revealed as the group’s 4th and final member. Aespa made its official debut with the song track Black Mamba which got the group instant recognition and fame.

Giselle is only the 2nd Japanese female idol to have debuted from SM Entertainment. She has collaborated with Taeyong, Hendery, Jeno, and Yang Yang on the song Zoo released in 2021.
