Finally, Marvel released the Infinity War trailer, and the internet has gone crazy. Infinity War is the most awaited superhero team-up movie of 2018. Fans are all ready to get their hands on the smallest hints that lead to the event, Infinity War. The trailer was breath-taking and action-packed.
Earlier, footage was played in SDCC 2017 and Disney’s D-23 Expo, and it got leaked online, but it was of poor quality. There were lots of scenes that had thrilled the fans, but these were missing from the trailer.
1. Thor’s Encounter With The Guardians
At the end of the trailer, Thor finds himself in a spaceship whose passengers had been staring at him, and he asks, “Who the hell are you guys?” and the trailer then ends with Mantis waving her hand and the Guardians team smiling at him.
In the SDCC footage, the sequence had been played from the Guardians perspective when Thor lands on their spaceship, beaten up and unconscious. The footage showed Thor with both his eyes, instead of just one.
2. GRANDMASTER’S SHIP CRASH
At the end of Thor: Ragnarok, we had seen the Asgardians who survived with the Revengers aboard Grandmaster’s ship that the revolutionaries had stolen. In the mid-credits scene, we see Thanos’ ship, Sanctuary showing up. After this, Thor will be taken apart by Thanos, and he shall encounter the Guardians. The SDCC footage showed this ship crashing towards Earth.
3. The Collector’s Vault and Gamora
We saw the Collector’s layer in Thor 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy. In the SDCC footage, Gamora was seen standing inside where Aether had been stored and we see her scared and worried as she looks at someone. The layer was demolished, and the scene might be about Thanos hitting the vault for a gem.
4. A new planet
One thing that we had noticed in the officially released trailer and the SDCC trailer was that a whole lot of the fight was on a new planet. In the SDCC trailer, we saw wide shots of this planet with lots of destruction.
5. Guardians ft. Iron Man and Spidey
One tempting scene in the SDCC footage was Tony Stark / Iron Man and Peter Parker/Spider-man hanging. The Guardians that we see in this scene were Star-Lord, Drax, and Mantis standing with Iron-Man and Spider-Man.
6. An Unexpected Dual Team-up
The directors of the movie had announced that we will see unique Superhero Team-ups in this movie during many fights. Doctor Strange and Star-Lord was one of them. This was a great crossover moment in the footage. So, it now is safe to assume that Doc Strange is with the Guardians and Iron-Man and Spiderman on this planet.
7. Beating of the God of Thunder
We see Thor getting smashed at the beginning of the SDCC trailer. Then we see Thanos holding Thor’s head with just one hand and trying to crush it. This is how powerful Thanos is without any Infinity Stones.
8. Peter apologizing to Tony
In the trailer, we had seen Peter Parker shine in the new Iron Spider suit. A scene in the SDCC footage was an addition to this where we see Peter Parker apologizing to Tony Stark.
9. Quick shots of various characters
The trailer that Marvel had released for us was missing a lot of notable character shots. In the SDCC trailer, we saw a brief glimpse at Nebula, Scarlett Witch being attacked, Falcon fighting Proxima Midnight, Star-Lord and Vision behind bars.
10. Thanos going full Mad Titan
We saw Thanos having the Power and Space gems on his Gauntlet as he got hold of Tesseract and the Orb. In the next scene, we had seen him take down Iron Man with one strike. But, the SDCC footage ended with an epic shot where the Mad Titan starts going berserk and uses the two gems to crush and attack the Avengers.
