Netflix’s has a ton of great content to be released in the second half of this year, and one such series is Marvel’s Punisher that will probably reach audiences by coming November. John Bernthal had given a mind blowing performance as Frank Castle in the second season of Daredevil. People liked it so much that Netflix and Marvel decided to give the character its own Solo series. However, this is not the first live-action Rodeo for Punisher, there have been three different movies that tried to explore the Punisher’s personality, but only 1 of them with Thomas Jane as Frank Castle, released in 2004, was a mildly successful film but it didn’t make enough money to get a sequel. John Bernthal’s cast selection for Punisher ruffled a lot of feathers when it was announced, but this guy blew everybody’s minds with his spectacular performance in Daredevil Season 2.
Steve Lightfoot is the show-runner for the Punisher series, and it is going to air sometime in November 2017, but we still don’t have the confirmed dates on it. Punisher series will pick up a lot of content from Daredevil Season 2, according to the rumors, it will lift up with his meeting with “Micro” who has been an ally to Punisher in comic books.
Marvel’s twitter handle has just released a short teaser hinting the fans that there will be a massive Punisher reveal in Comic-Con. The teaser has the jingle, One Batch, Two Batch; it is the same song that Frank sings before he kills his major enemies. This is from his daughter’s favorite book. There is no confirmation whether Punisher will be present in the upcoming Netflix-Marvel collaboration mega series “The Defenders, ” but we are surely going to see many heroes in Punisher’s series.
