The announcement by NetherRealm Studios related to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles being a part of Injustice 2 shocked the fans, and they believe that it has now made it possible for another legendary team. During the weekend, the complete trailer for fighter pack 3 of Injustice 2 came out, and it revealed that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be a part of the fighters line up. The response has been phenomenal earlier, and some fans now wonder why don’t they add Power Rangers.
That was the driving force behind a new petition launched by Sydney Australia resident ThanuraRavindra. The petition is asking for the five Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to join the favorite fight game, and he quoted Turtles to be a great inspiration. “The fans of Power Rangers would love to see the Rangers involved in Injustice 2,” the petition reads. “Having seen the Rangers with the Justice League in comics, why not go further? And the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are in the game now.”
Ravindra also referred to the recent BOOM! Studios DC collaboration Justice League/Power Rangers, which has pitted both the teams together in their efforts to protect the planet from Brainiac and Lord Zedd. The game was highly appreciated by fans of both franchises, and a lot of people are expecting to see a follow-up game down the line.
As far as Injustice 2 is concerned, NetherRealm hasn’t shared details about Turtles or how they will manage the game as there are four of them. Will one of them be controlled by the player and the others will join in for particular missions or will the players be allowed to play as each on its own?
No matter what, the Power Rangers would be a superb enhancement to the game because they have bright costumes and grand dialogues. Jason the Red Ranger fighting Gorilla Grodd or Trini battling Wonder Woman would be absolutely insane, and the ultimate attack would feature their individual Zords.
Although Poison Ivy has a man-eater plant, but, Trini has Sabertooth Tiger Zord who will chomp on the plant for a snack.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles join Injustice 2 in February 2018.
