Passionate DCEU fans fulfilled their promise to rally outside WB headquarters to try and pressure them to release the Zack Snyder version of Justice League.
The Burbank, California studios, witnessed a bunch of people gather outside it on Saturday, holding a banner which read “#ReleaseTheSnyderCut.” Fans and people associated with the film have earlier said that Snyder had created a rough version of Justice League before he exited the project, and that’s the cut these fans are demanding for.
Justice League faced a lot of trouble, right from the production days. Snyder left the film midway during shooting citing personal reasons. Avengers director Joss Whedon stepped in to wrap up the movie. The film is about to conclude its theatrical run with about $675 million, which is a disappointing total if we look at the performance of Wonder Woman earlier in 2017.
The digital release of Justice League is expected on January 30. The Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
