She is the first woman in the 2008 Indy Japan 300 to win and is the only woman in an IndyCar Series Race. A daughter of working-class parents, Terry Joseph Patrick Jr. and Beverly Ann. Danica was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on March 25, 1982. Her parents met on a blind date. Her father raced snowmobiles, midget cars, and motocross.

Danica was not interested in racing like her parents and was a cheerleader in High School at Rockton 1996. Her sister showed interest in go-kart racing and both girls were given go-karts as a gift from her parents. Patrick started karting under the careful eye of her parents and began to get good at it.

She wrecked herself in a debut race and emerged uninjured. Thereafter she was more careful and learned to handle her coordination better. She asked her parents to move to California at the age of 13 and was refused due to work commitments. She won the World Karting Association Grand National Championship in the Yamaha sportsman for 3 years.

She was taught auto racing’s ventures and refined her racing more when entered a program in 1996. She competed in the United Kingdom racing circuit, when hired by John Mecom Jr. Patrick dropped out from High school with her parent’s consent and to advance herself in racing career.

Her racing career is so successful and vast that words are less for her. Patrick is also involved in various business ventures. She has her wine brand named Somnium, dream in Latin. She is a globally recognized racing driver and was also on the cover of FHM, sports illustrated.
