Same thing happened with Daisy Ridley, when she posted this simple message related to Gun Violence on her Instagram. Here’s the post:-
“[As] I sat in the audience yesterday tears were streaming down my face at the tribute to those that have been lost to gun violence. I didn’t get a great picture of the incredible group that came on stage, but they were so brave. It was a true moment of togetherness. We must #stoptheviolence.”
At first, she started to receive thousands of positive messages supporting her, but after few hours some people started taking her message in a different direction calling her a “Hypocrite” citing examples of various deadly guns that are used in Star Wars Franchise. This eventually made Daisy Ridley delete her Instagram account

Daisy has never been a Tom-boyish in her real life as her character in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, on the contrary, she has been a feminine lady. She grew up with two elder sisters and loved reading books from Roald Dahl, and her all time favorite movie is Matilda. She even role models Matilda’s character from the film, which was played by Mara Wilson.
