Same thing happened with Daisy Ridley, when she posted this simple message related to Gun Violence on her Instagram. Here’s the post:-
“[As] I sat in the audience yesterday tears were streaming down my face at the tribute to those that have been lost to gun violence. I didn’t get a great picture of the incredible group that came on stage, but they were so brave. It was a true moment of togetherness. We must #stoptheviolence.”
At first, she started to receive thousands of positive messages supporting her, but after few hours some people started taking her message in a different direction calling her a “Hypocrite” citing examples of various deadly guns that are used in Star Wars Franchise. This eventually made Daisy Ridley delete her Instagram account

Daisy has never been a Tom-boyish in her real life as her character in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, on the contrary, she has been a feminine lady. She grew up with two elder sisters and loved reading books from Roald Dahl, and her all time favorite movie is Matilda.
