The Arrowverse is coming back to us earlier than we had anticipated!
Although shows such as Supergirl or The Flash won’t be back until the week of January 15, The CW is going to bring back their worlds to us one week before that.
Monday, January 8 and Tuesday, January 9 will witness The CW once again air the much-loved crossover event, ‘Crisis on Earth-X.’ Each night will have two back-to-back episodes of the four-episode crossover. January 8 will have the Supergirl, and the Arrow installments of the Crisis and January 9 will feature The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow episodes.
Crisis on Earth-X turned out to be a massive success for the network. Therefore, it is logical that this is the crossover event that CW has picked up to re-air so that fans can get into the groove before the series comes back.
Arrowverse will be officially back on January 15 with the new Supergirl episode at 8 pm. This will be followed on January 16, by the midseason premiere of The Flash at 8 pm, and the series debut of Black Lightning at 9 pm. Arrow will be back a couple of days later at 9 pm on January 18.
Legends of Tomorrow is on a longer break because Black Lightning is premiering. Rather than coming back with the rest of the shows, Legends will take over Supergirl’s Monday night slot from February 12. The series will then go on until the end of its Season 3, and the finale is scheduled for April 9. After a week, April 16 will mark the return of Supergirl, and it will air new episodes on Monday nights right up to its season finale on June 18.
