It is awkward when you go for a movie you are the only person in the theater, right? Or if there is only one “other” person there? Or let’s say, there is only one person it is a clown with a red balloon?
That is what happened to Twitter user @HG_Hohbes when he went to see It. The Stephen King adaptation of an evil demon that takes the form of a clown, called Pennywise and preys on local children. Upon entering the theatre, he was greeted by this sight:
He sure is braver than all of us because he man stayed in the theater. In the end, this clown, under the makeup and wig, was just a regular guy. He bravely struck up a conversation.
One woman replied to his tweet saying that she works at the cinema where the clown sighting took place. She revealed that she was behind the stunt, making up a man named Jordan Gunner, an actor according to his Twitter bio.
“Hannah,” It and American Horror Story: Cult have made coulrophobes of us by now. Pennsylvania police are warning a return of clown sightings and people are on edge.
