The daughter of Actress and model Teri Shields and businessman Frank Shields, Brooke gained herself huge following from her role at the age of 12 in Louis Malle’s film Pretty Baby (1978), by playing a role of a child prostitute in New Orleans.

Brooke never stopped working and till the date, she is doing roles in the TV sitcoms, latest being the Jane the Virgin. In 1983, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Romance Languages after suspending her career for attending University. Brooke Shields was the most recognizable face in the United States for her work as a model and child actress.
