There have been many rumors floating around that a new Batman: Arkham game is in works, but we have an incredibly sad news for the fans of Arkham series. During an event in Nashville Comic Con, Kevin Conroy confirmed in an interview (Video footage below) that there are NO plans for any new Arkham Game! Yes, the news that you read about a game named Arkham Insurgency is either completely scrapped, or it was a fake information in the first place.
Here’s what Kevin told the curious reporters about the future of Arkham Games at Rocksteady Studio:-
“You know, I can’t believe that they’re not gonna do another one, but they’re not. Isn’t that amazing?”
He went ahead and showed his disappointment for not having any new Arkham game like this:-
“They made literally billions of dollars in those games, but uh no, there’s no plan to do another one. Sorry.”
Like, we had said before in the article, it is a very depressing news for the fans because the quality that we got from the Arkham games is completely on the next level. No other Batman game comes even near to the complexity and awesomeness of Batman Arkham games delivered its players, but it looks like, we have to accept the fact that there will not be any new Batman game from Rocksteady studios in the near future.
The only way we could get another Another Arkham game if Warner Bros has moved the franchise to WB Games Montreal, and they are not using Kevin Conroy as the voice actor behind Batman (Which would be suicidal). We are pretty sure that Warner Bros is not going to sit quietly on its Batman IP in the world of gaming, as it makes them billions of dollars every year, but we have to wait and see what is going to be the next Batman game and which studio is going to bring it to us.
