The love affair of DCEU and Marvel Universe has had a new entry in its timeline as DCEU president, Geoff Johns, shared his love for the recently released trailer of Black Panther. The world premiere trailer for Marvel’s Black Panther was staged during the game 4 of the NBA Finals. The two-minute long trailer has taken the Internet by storm. It was a magical night for all the basketball fans who had been there to watch the game.
Director Ryan Coogler has earned himself a massive army of fans owing to the promising trailer of Black Panther. That army includes even the DCEU president, Geoff Johns. He shared his admiration for Black Panther and appreciated the trailer through his Twitter handle. He tweeted,
“This looks unreal. Panther was one of my favorite characters to write when I was at Marvel.”
Johns had worked for Marvel in the early 2000s in their comic division. He has also worked for The WB and The Crimson White. He took over as the chief creative officer at DC Comics in 2010. He has been a fan of comics ever since his childhood.
The Black Panther trailer reveals some major plot points but focuses mainly on the changing world around Wakanda with some serious action scenes. T’challa can be seen dealing with Erik Killmonger rebelling against the royal family within Wakanda. The Dora Milaje seems to be a force worth reckoning. The impact of an incredible flip-flop by Black Panther from one moving vehicle onto another sums up the trailer.
Black Panther is all set to make an appearance Avengers: Infinity War alongside Man-Ape. It is believed that Thanos might end up having a scuffle with Black Panther and Man-Ape during his quest for the Infinity Stones.
Chadwick Boseman has looked impressive all throughout the trailer and his portrayal of T’Challa is something that no Marvel fan can afford to miss. Black Panther is set to hit the screens worldwide on February 16th, 2018.
