Justice League seems to be all set to bring to the screens a new side of the Dark Knight. US Weekly recently interviewed Ben Affleck who is currently the Bruce Wayne/Batman of the DCEU. He remarked that the death of Superman (Henry Cavill) had impacted Batman in a big way and he has an entirely new outlook on the superhero things that he does.

“In Batman v Superman, he was at the end of his rope,” Affleck said. “But in Justice League, he’s finding hope again. He has to open up and play well with others. He knows he needs them.”

In fact, Affleck is not the only person who has spoken about the new positive outlook of the Batman, but, Jon Berg, the producer of Justice League has also earlier stated that it has always been at the foundation of the character that Affleck plays.

“It’s a hopeful and optimistic view of life.” Berg had said in 2016. “Even Batman has a glimmer of that in him. If he didn’t think he’d make tomorrow better, he’d stop.”

Despite this new brightness, Bruce will still need to work hard to mingle with his new comrades as per Affleck.

“He’s sort of the ultimate loner, but he’s really trying to make it work and develop a good relationship with all of them,” he remarked.

Ben Affleck also brought attention to the relationship that Bruce will share a popular team member who has been featuring in a big way in the promos of Justice League.

He might be a mentor to The Flash,” Affleck revealed.

Justice League releases on November 17, 2017.
