The Imperial logo is distinctive. What’s more, if you watch the Rogue One trailer, you see it all over the place, including on our heroes. We see one on the arm of the android K-2SO, which tips viewers off to his past as Imperial property that was reinvented and repurposed as a rebel soldier. We also see one on the shoulder of a human character. On-screen character Riz Ahmed plays Bodhi Rook, a pilot who absconded from the Empire to join the expanding Rebel Alliance. Rogue One is going to put the familiar adage “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” to the test. As it is, in it, previous individuals from the Empire will attempt to exist together on the same group as warriors who have abhorred the Empire since birth.
