7. The Blues Brothers
1980 emerged as an especially fruitful year for Carrie Fisher’s extensive resume. Apart from the fact that The Empire Strikes Back released in theatres, Fisher played a notable and heavily armed part as The Mystery Woman in The Blues Brothers. Fisher gets some of her most renegade minutes this side of Star Wars as The Mystery Woman. Furthermore, watching her perform along with the late John Belushi is downright awesome.
