5. Hugh Jackman Will Always Be Our Wolverine
The world has seen many Spider-Men, and Supermen, but only one Wolverine. Even in X-Men: First Class, the one actor who did not receive the recasting treatment was Jackman. And that is because there is only one Logan: Hugh.
It doesn’t matter how bad some of the X-Men films were getting over the past 17 years (thanks to Bryan Singer, Gavin Hood, and Brett Ratner), but Jackman never let us down. He brought his best to every scene and made every movie worth the watch.
No, replacing him is a betrayal. Will time really heal the heartache of the fact that Hugh is not the Ol’ Canucklehead.
6. Logan Was The Pinnacle
Not a single Wolverine story can top what fans experienced in Logan. The character had found peace and purpose in his life. The end for our X-Man was a satisfying one. This because throughout his life, he experienced a lot of much pain and sorrow.
So, that said bringing back Logan in another X-Men film isn’t really a good idea. A legacy so flawless should remain untouched. Any attempt whatsoever to recreate it will look pathetic in comparison.
There are many great Wolverine stories to be told but none will have the emotional impact that Logan had on its viewers.
