6 Reasons Why The Movie “LOGAN” HAS Ruined X-men’s “Wolverine”

3. The Costume Means Almost Nothing Now

Of course, the most disappointing part is that Hugh Jackman as Wolverine never got a chance to wear the famous yellow costume that had become popular. We may have got a glimpse of it in a case in 2013’s The Wolverine, but he never actually wore it.

As one of the most distinct superhero costumes, it seems only fair to have brought it to screen. Well, for example, have you ever seen a Batman movie where the actors haven’t worn the suit? I don’t think so. Maybe someday, someone will wear that costume, but it will never be Hugh Jackman. Well, he deserves a better legacy.

Some say that it wouldn’t have looked good on the screen, but all superheroes wear costumes. Yes, they do! A guy swinging from building to building in a red and blue spider-themed costume is funny. We’d be so furious if Spider-Man didn’t wear his costume.

4. Reviving Him Will Simply Cheapen Logan’s Legacy

Logan’s death has a very powerful statement. It ushered in a new generation and chapter. Unlike other movies, there was no sand rising from the ground, movement of rocks on his grave, so we know it was permanent. Weapon X is dead.

If you are a comic book fan, you will know that nothing is ever permanent in this platform. Characters die and mostly come back in the Marvel universe. Yes, the explanations for their resurrections are crazy. But, cinema is a very different medium, and the legacy of Logan does ride on whether the character is to be revived so soon.

Maybe he will be rebooted but that would not be the right ting to do. This is because, Wolverine is still one of the most popular X-Men. Foz may have a huge opportunity to get dollars rolling with one more Wolverine movie.
