6 Reasons Why Hayden Christensen’s Career Is Devastated After Star Wars Prequels.

3. His Post-Star Wars Films Weren’t Hits

Given the average reviews that he got for his two Star Wars excursions, and the Razzies he “won,” you may think Christensen would have attempted to pick scripts somewhat more carefully. Unfortunately, he featured in one flop after another. Among the most awful was the 2007 thriller Awake, co-featuring Jessica Alba. This got just $14 million in the U.S. What’s more, it earned Christensen and Alba a Razzie nomination for Worst Screen Couple. Christensen after that featured in Jumper and later on Takers. Both of them earned much more terrible reviews.

In fact, at a certain point, Christensen even featured in a direct-to-DVD film called Virgin Territory. This also featured Mischa Barton of The O.C. The Star Wars prequels won’t appear to be so terrible after this.

4. He Left Fame

We know that he confronted hardships amid and after the arrival of Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith pretty well. However, it was only in 2015 that Christensen revealed his vanishing from the spotlight was a conscious effort on his part. As indicated by an interview in December, Christensen purchased a bit of farmland after Star Wars and essentially relaxed.  He stated;”I guess I felt like I had this great thing in Star Wars that provided all these opportunities and gave me a career, but it all kind of felt a little too handed to me.” I didn’t want to go through life feeling like I was just riding a wave.”

Christensen ended up putting in around five years away from film sets. In September 2015, he came back to the extra large screen in the religious show 90 Minutes in Heaven. This, unfortunately, was welcomed with poor reviews and earned just $4.8 million in the cinema world.
