5. He-Man Cartoon Series Created Furor with Cheap Tactics
He-Man and She-Ra were created by FilmationStudio that was infamous for using animated sequences over and over again. And the best example of their cheapness came forth when in the Master of the Universe cartoon series they changed the name of the idiotic wizard Gorpo to Orko. In the cartoon series, he is known as the Orko. The makers of the cartoon series wanted to have his initial G on the tunic of this idiotic character. But changed their mind at the last moment and gave him a huge ‘O’ on his chest so that the makers can flip the animation without making it look like backwards. This was actually done to give them more footage than anybody could have imagined.
6. He-Man Was a Non-Violent Superhero
Well that is true. I am not just being emotional here. He-Man was not really a violent superhero. In fact, he is probably the only superhero amongst all of them with less blood in his fist. I mean I have seen his all the episodes. He has not got into long time brawls. If you think that the sword he has was for killing then you are completely mistaken.
He-Man used his sword only to cut off obstacles. The sword has not been used on any human being or evil. He has not even punched any villain. Even if he has to he would simply lift villains and throw them away like a ball. But why the hell was it like that? There is a very good reason behind this.
He-Man was the first toy who had been made into a cartoon series. He was under the scrutiny of FCC and parents alike. Hence, the makers of the superhero series wanted to have less objectionable content.
