3. Who Needs Skywalkers?
The universe of Star Wars is extraordinary on the grounds that it’s so rich in character. It has the lowliest cantina creature to one-line Imperial Officers. As incalculable books, comics, games and other transmedia Star Wars spin-offs have proved throughout the decades: known heroes or namesakes aren’t needed to tell astonishing stories. The Star Wars adventure is the tale of the Skywalkers, we get that, yet it’s invigorating to step far from that space opera and go for something new. If our report is genuine then we’ll be seeing Darth Vader in this film. As it is, he said, “there’ll be no one to stop us this time.”
4. The Expanded Universe’s Film Debut
We agree that Star Wars is greater than any one individual. It’s greater than George Lucas. It’s greater than the legacy of the Skywalkers. For the fans who investigated the universe past the first six movies, they fell in love with a host of new characters and intensely diverse stories set in eras all over the series’ continuity. It’s exciting that these sorts of stories are no off limits to movies. With Rogue One, we’re ready to come back to the period of the first trilogy without pandering.
