3) The name “Jyn Erso” resembles a lot with a character in Expanded Universe. There is a game called “Star Wars Dark Forces” that was considered cannon back in the day, but now it’s part of the “Legends” and will not be considered canon anymore. However, that character’s name was Jan Ors, who decides to fight back with rebellion to achieve Death Star plan. This sounds a lot like Jyn Erso, but this could be a coincidence. However, we have seen much non-canon material getting converted into canon in the Star Wars Rebels, and Clone Wars.
4) Jyn Erso is “NOT” Rey’s mother.
There were tons of rumors and articles cropping up on the internet, pointing out that Rey’s mother is none other than “Jyn Erso” but all of them were wrong. Daisy Ridley collapsed all these theories by saying that :-
“I’m not being funny you guys, but just because she’s white and got brown hair… it doesn’t mean she’s my mom,”
