5 Facts Fans Must Know On Star Wars Theme Park Spread Across 14 Acres!

3. The Taste of Blue Milk on an All-New ‘Star Wars’ Planet

Personally, I am absolutely digging this idea. It is one thing to introduce the obvious things and another to involve fans in quirky and interesting details. Imagineering executive Kathy Mangum added “We really want people to feel like they’re in that movie.” Adds Walt Disney Parks and Resorts chairman Bob Chapek to The Orlando Sentinel reported in August 2015, The attractions “will introduce you to a Star Wars planet you’ve never seen before — a gateway planet located on the outer rim, full of places and characters familiar and not so familiar,”.

Viewers will remember that in A New Hope, Luke Skywalker was so naive to ordered blue milk at the cantina. Since then, we have always wondered how and what does blue milk tastes like. Well, it looks like now we finally will.

The special event to mark Disney land’s 60th anniversary, ABC’s Wonderful World of Disney saw Harrison Ford introduced new concept art for the Star Wars attractions. As pointed out and discussed by Disney Food Blog, this included a look at possible dining options. The MosEisley Cantina, being one of the most famous locations in the films, will be recreated. This although the fact that the Star Wars Lands are supposed to take place on a new Outer Rim world.

4. Star War Land will be Right Next to Toy Story Land

The beginning of construction on Star Wars Land in Orlando coincided also with the beginning of the construction on Toy Story Land. The idea behind it seems to be to recreate the success of Cars Land in the Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim. Now, visitors will go there and feel “Honey, I’ve shrunk” us all. Funny.

In a statement on Toy Story Land, Magnum said:

As all of you know, here in Anaheim, we’ve been quite successful with taking immersive experiences to a whole new level as we did with Cars Land. In fact, one of our favorite stories from opening day is that we overheard a little boy asking his mom, ‘Is this where they filmed the Cars movie?’ That’s exactly how we want people to feel – like they’ve stepped onto the set of their favorite film … like the quaint town of Radiator Springs or, in the case of ‘Toy Story,’ the wild and adventurous outdoors of Andy’s backyard.

Like Toy Story Land, like Star Wars Land too still hasn’t yet announced it opening date.
