The Injustice game series is pretty popular right now, thanks to all the DC action going on in other media. But another reason behind the popularity is the excellent character designs. In the original “Injustice: Gods Among Us,” we witnessed many variations of our favorite characters from different comic books. However, the excessive liberties taken in the original game faced some criticism, which was solved in Injustice 2. The designs were rational, thoughtful yet provided enough variations to keep us engaged. On top of that, Injustice 2 provided the feature to customize the looks of the characters, which gave players more liberty.
It is clear that Netherrealm put in a lot of work in designing the characters. While we have already seen the ones that were finalized, many others didn’t make the cut. Fortunately, the artists have now made these initial designs public. While some designs were not rightfully removed from the game, others just make us wish that they had been included.
