Superman (Clark Kent) is the last son of Krypton and the most powerful characters in DCU. He can travel faster than light and move planets and has destroyed a solar system with a sneeze. But fans have not realized that there are other powerful characters in comics that can destroy Superman. And here is the list:
1. Doctor Manhattan
Doctor John Osterman is a nuclear physicist was humble and kind and was one day locked in an intrinsic chamber and died and then he started reappearing. He can be at many places at one time. He can talk telepathically and is surely no match for Superman.
2. Martian Manhunter
J’onnJ’ones is the last surviving Martian who had witnessed the death of his kind. He has strength, can fly, become intangible and perform telekinesis. He is powerful and can give a rough time to the Man of Steel.
3. Spectre
Spectre is the third powerful character in DC. He derives his powers from The Presence. He was an angel and needs a host body to fulfill God’s wishes. He can take down Superman in seconds if this happens.
4. Michael Demiurgos
Michael Demiurgos is an immortal character and has powers like Spectre with powers that are sonic cry, ability to communicate with animals and acidic blood.
5. Lucifer Morningstar
Lucifer Morningstar is the second powerful character of DC after The Presence. He has cosmic awareness, invisibility, super speed, telekinesis and dimensional manipulation.
6. The Presence
The most powerful being of DC comics is called DC’s version of Marvel’s The One Above All. He has powers that are no match for anyone. He is unmatchable in strength and can destroy anyone in the DC universe.
7. Solaris:
It is the powerful supercomputer from 853rd century. This tyrant sun created itself to infect 20th century machinery with a techno-evil virus. Superman is a baby to this sentient star.
8. Hercules:
He is the God of Gods who accumulated powers that Superman can just dream of. He can fly, teleport and emit energy blasts with his hands and eyes.
9. Shazam:
Shazam is another version of Superman and with magic powers. The Man Of Steel has immense strength and speed but he is not immune to magic.
10. Trigon
Trigon is an interdimensional demon who has enslaved worlds. He can manipulate reality and transmute matter. He can also open wormholes.
11. Larfleeze
Larfleeze is an alien and is the bearer of Orage Lantern Ring. With this in his hand, he can dominate the Green Lanterns and his ring is 100,000 times more powerful than a Green Lantern ring.
12. Doctor Fate
Doctor Fate is the most powerful sorcerers in the DC universe. Superman is vulnerable to magic and Dr. Fate is the god of Magic and to take on Man of Steel in a fight will be easy for him.
13. Amazo
Amazo is an android that was built by mad Professor Ivo. Amazo has powers of the members of Justice League like Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern and Flash. He can absorb and replicate powers and he is an unstoppable beast.
14. Superboy-Prime
Superboy Prime was a good guy in comics but went insane during Infinite Crisis. He has powers that keep him ahead of Superman.
15. Mister Majestic
Mister Majestic is a version of the Man of Steel. He has powers like him but on a higher degree. His heat vision is more powerful than Superman’s as it has changed the composition of Jupiter once.
