5. WALT DISNEY FELL ASLEEP DURING THE SHERMAN BROTHERS’ SONG PRESENTATION.
When the acclaimed song writing couple initially pitched some of their tunes to the group, Walt was, well, not really interested. As indicated by Richard Sherman, “We were so carried away telling our story and singing loud, ‘Eglantine, Eglantine, oh how you shine!,’ showing how the phony guy, who finds this real witch who’s capable of doing magic, is so excited when he figured he’d make a fortune with her. 6. REGARDLESS OF HIS APPARENT DISINTEREST, DISNEY LIKED THE SONGS A LOT.
One of his top choices was “Substitutiary Locomotion. Robert Sherman said that he adored that song. They thought up some magical words like Treguna, Mekoides, Trecorum, Satis, Dee, and put them with the verses they had officially written.
