The rapid pace at which DCEU is progressing means that they will need to rope in some vital characters for films such as Nightwing, Gotham City Sirens, Green Lantern Corps, etc. While it can be lucrative to keep the casting accurately representing the comic books, we also know how Wonder Woman was a huge success, and we look forward to seeing the future DC films go the same way. Thus, here we are with some casting options that Warner Bros. should take into account for DCEU.
1. Michael Trevino as Kyle Rayner
If you love Vampire Diaries, then you must have seen him on that show. He is suitable for this role because he is a great actor and he is scary too! His jawline and look are apt.
2. Emma Stone as Poison Ivy
Poison Ivy is the sex symbol of the comic books and a leading villain in the Batman world, therefore, if there has to be someone as sexy and sharp as her, then here is Emma Stone who will be a perfect choice.
3. David Maziarz as Damian Wayne
It may sound crazy, but, Batman has a desire to play his own son. David plays a young Bruce Wayne on the ‘Gotham’ TV show, and he has said during an earlier interview that he would be delighted to play Damian Wayne in DCEU.
4. Penelope Cruz as Talia Al’ Ghul
This is the least surprising of them all. Penelope is picture perfect for this role. She looks like a real-life version of the character and is an amazing actor. She will simply nail Talia if only WB contacts her for the role.
5. Alessandro Dellisola as Dick Grayson/Nightwing
There is almost no chance that you can recognize this guy because he is not an actor, but, an upcoming model. However, as far as looks are concerned, he is every bit, Dick Grayson. He has the body and the charm that catches the eye, and with a good director, he can perform well in the role.
6. Ezia Gonzalez as Catwoman
She is a sexy Latina who is capable of doing some great roles and dialog delivery. She has a feline grace which is what you need to play Catwoman. Check out ‘Baby Driver’ to see her work in a film.
7. Charlie Hunnam as Green Arrow
Stephen Amell has been stunning as the Green Arrow, but, you can’t have the same guy play two roles in two franchises simultaneously. Therefore, Charlie is a great fit for DCEU. Have a look at him, and you will agree with us.
8. Chloe Grace Moretz as Supergirl
Man of Steel 2 is being made, and it would be a perfect time to bring to screen the DCEU version of Kara Jor-El. ‘Brainiac’ is the ideal villain to bring her on board. Chloe is the perfect Supergirl.
9. Armie Hammer as Hal Jordan
The rumors about Armie Hammer playing Hal Jordan in future films and even doing a cameo in ‘Justice League’ has been going on for a long time. While he has denied it all, we can still hope it happens.
10. Astrid BergesFrisbey as Barbara Gordan
Barbara is Jim Gordon’s daughter and Batman’s long-time friend who is now a Batgirl. While the comics show her as a Red Head, we simply go drooling over the prospect of Astrid playing Barbara. You can see her work in ‘King Arthur Legend of the Sword.’
11. Idris Alba as John Stewart
You may say that he is already the ‘Heimdall’ in MCU, but, let’s be real. His character is minor in MCU. Therefore, his playing this role won’t be an issue, and he is absolutely the right guy for the role.
