5. A Talking R2-D2
He just talks with bleeps and blips in the Original Trilogy, yet it’s obvious that R2-D2 is a chatterbox. In The Star Wars, he talks in full sentences, despite the fact that he resembles a dustbin. It’s fascinating to take note that Lucas initially planned full dialogues for the small droid. Similarly intriguing is that C-3PO hasn’t changed in identity from his first appearances. It’s somewhat encouraging to realize that one thing was set in stone from Lucas’ origination of Star Wars even though it is a spent, disappointing robot.
6. Swamp Solo
The most humongous transformation from The Star Wars to Star Wars is the presence of Han Solo. While he is depicted as an ethically equivocal rascal, he’s also a gigantic green-gilled animal from a species known for killing Wookiees. This makes his inevitable association with Chewbacca outlandish in these early drafts. However, even under his scaly skin, Solo appears the same fellow.
