6. MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE
It puzzles me why this motion picture turned out the way it did. As it is, He-Man was one of the greatest toys and animates series of the 1980s. It ought to have been a roaring success as a movie. For reasons unknown, it was decided to change the movie from a dream epic to a STAR WARS clone and the outcomes were sad.
5. SATURN 3
A monstrous bomb when it released in 1980, SATURN 3 had the A-list cast comprising of Kirk Douglas, Harvey Keitel, and Farrah Fawcett. Even then, it was not able conquer the frail special effects that could not hope to compare to the STAR WARS movies. Really expected to impersonate Ridley Scott’s ALIEN, SATURN 3 is more similar to STAR WARS. This is despite its being a fierce and dark R-rated thriller.
