9. Moving to Extremes.
How much impact years battling against the Empire moulded Saw? In the Rogue One trailer, we hear him saying, “If you continue to fight, what will you become?” I assume that he’s turn into somewhat of a special case. Hidalgo had stated that Saw is an extraordinary Rebel and that he’s certainly against the Empire. He further added that Saw does things that ethically push against the sort of stuff that Bail Organa and Mon Mothma stand for. He’s certainly the more extraordinary side of the Rebel Alliance. Furthermore, Kathleen Kennedy (Lucasfilm President) had stated; “He’s on the fringe of the Rebel Alliance. Even [they] are a little concerned about him.”

It would be interesting to note that Saw Gerrera is the only character to make the move from an animated Star Wars series to a real life Star Wars movie. Yes, you read it right; the first one.
