12 Rare Facts About Master Yoda – “Most Mysterious Character In Star Wars Saga.”

10. His Look inspired from Make-Up Artist and Physicist

The inspiration for the look of Yoda came from Stuart Freeborn. What’s more, he was the make-up artist tasked with creating the look for Yoda. When he looked into a mirror, he saw Yoda. That’s it. He looked at it, and he felt mighty satisfied with his own reflection.
When he started sculpting the model for Yoda, he emphasized his bald scalp, wrinkles, and pointed chin in that model. Freeborn later confesses that the only part of Yoda that inspired on himself was the upper lip. The inspiration for that bit came from the famous mustache of Albert Einstein. The idea behind this was that part of the face will subconsciously trigger in the mind of the audience, intelligence and wisdom, traits associated with the genius. Based on observation, all of these got triggered even before he spoke a word of advice in his lovable and fractured English.

9. Voiced by More than One Person!

It is a common knowledge that the Voice of Frank Oz (The Muppets fame) was used for Yoda in all the films. What almost everyone doesn’t know is that he is not the only person who has performed or voiced the character. This is probably due to the fact that many restrict the history and lore of Yoda only to the Star Wars Saga.
His story extends to books, comics, video games, cartoons and CGI movies. Even radio plays can be added to the list before Disney retconned all of those materials and turned them into Star Wars Legends.
In the radio dramatization of Star Wars, Yoda isbecausevoiced by none other than John Lithgow. He was offered the role of Yoda in the movie but due to his busy schedule (he was involved with The Great Muppet Caper) he recommended Oz. He also referred Warwick Davis (who played the Ewok Wicket in Episode VI) and Deep Roy. The two of them subbed in for Yoda in full-body walking shots, since, although he may be a Jedi Master, even Yoda can’t make his puppet body move.
