There has been a great deal of coverage given to the petition started by DC fans demanding to see the original Zack Snyder cut of Justice League. Now, even Zack Snyder has lent his support to the campaign by liking a social media post promoting the petition. The news came after Snyder said on social media that he has not seen the film yet. He also stated that he is hurt by the fact that he was not able to take to the finishing line, something that he started with Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. The directorial change happened during the production, and it apparently took the project towards a path of negativity, and that seems to be the primary cause of a majority of the negative reviews.

Zack Snyder was on Vero, his preferred social media platform and he liked a post supporting the petition asking for his version of Justice League to be released. One of the fans took a screen grab of Snyder’s liking the post. By the time of this article’s writing, the petition has got over one hundred thousand signatures whereas the initial goal was to get 25,000. We are not sure if Snyder went to change.org website to sign this petition but, weirder things happen.

There have been reports about Zack Snyder’s son Jett having enjoyed Justice League. However, he had some critical remarks over the film’s overdose of humor and WB’s tinkering with the final outcome. We agree that Jett is not Zack. However, we wonder if the father has the same opinion as his son. He hasn’t seen the final movie, and he claims that he hasn’t seen anything of Justice League after he exited in May,

Talking about the Warner Bros. interference, Joss Whedon also took some time to cast some shadows on the movie by liking a social media post criticizing the over-reliance of CGI on the film’s villain Steppenwolf. The tweet was quite nasty, and Whedon faced criticism for liking it from other upset DC fans. One such angry fan said on Twitter, “Your fingerprints are all over this film & you had yet to voice out any kind of support for it. You are despicable & you have singlehandedly ruined Zack Snyder’s Justice League.”

Liking these social media posts could be an indirect way of Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon to direct the blame towards Warner Bros., but a lot of people miss out on the fact that these likes might just be sarcastic and a way of trolling the trolls. The DC loyalists are considering everything said or tweeted as the truth while it might just be a case of two friendly directors joking and laughing at themselves. No matter what the truth is, DC fans are indeed very angry about the two social media actions of the directors. Have a look at the screenshot showing Zack Snyder’s like on the Vero post, shared by Roberto Mata on Instagram.
