Will Darth Vader Appear In The New Rogue One Trailer?

Darth Vader is everyone’s favorite bad guy. From his “scarred” past to his last appearance in the Star Wars franchise. Everyone has wanted more Darth Vader, and I am one of them.

I grew up with the original trilogy and was brought into the Star Wars Universe watching Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker battle it out in the epic movies. “Ok, I’m giving away my age lol, but now you know I am a fan from way back!

Now to get to the subject at hand, will Darth Vader be showing up at the end of this week in the anticipated new Star Wars: Rogue One trailer?

Here is what we know so far about Rogue one. The movie appears to lean more toward the darker side of the Star Wars universe, and although it is being said that Darth Vader will only have a Cameo in the upcoming Spin-Off film, he will impact the narrative of the movie greatly!

With Orson Krenic as The main villain… According to the source EW, Lucas film President did say that Vader will be making an appearance in the movie.

This will present a challenge to director Gareth Edwards- how will he utilize Vader’s presence? The film in itself is a standalone story of the Rebels secret plan to steal plans for the Death Star before it is built. Which will put the movie a bit after the end of the last Prequel film. And the events will lead up to the beginning of A New Hope.

Rumor has it that the movie will resemble something more of a war film. And despite having the word “War” in all the Star Wars movies- Lucas himself always kept the films at more of a child’s level of fantasy and amusement.

So it will be nice to see an actual darker Star Wars movie which may appeal to us older fans of the franchise and to the younger fans as well.

And as far as being a “Darker” movie, there have even been rumors that Darth Vader’s scenes had to be watered down because they were actually too brutal! So I am looking forward to a movie we can all enjoy that doesn’t resemble a Muppet film…
