A feature movie is now starring Marvel’s galactic-traveler Silver Surfer is now in works at 20th Century Fox, and Brian K. Vaughan is now attached to write the script. This news comes as the fate of the X-Men franchise is in the air after Disney’s purchase,
A report from now notes that Fox has many “secret” projects currently in works. An executive had connected to this project and is now quoting, “We are going 100 miles per hour,” meaning that Fox is moving ahead with the superhero movies.
Vaughan is the co-creator of Runaways with Adrian Alphona who is the artist. This was adapted into a live-action for Hulu. A few of his other works are Y: The Last Man with Pia Guerra, and with his and artist Fiona Staples’ Saga.
It had been revealed that a Kitty Pryde stand-alone movie is in the works by Tim Miller. The Silver Surfer had starred in a 2007 movie, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and was played by Doug Jones and he was voiced by Laurence Fishburne.
