Everybody has been waiting to return to their favorite land before time, the Jurassic Park. The very first trailer for Jurassic World 2 is set to play in theaters along with the story from the galaxy far, far away, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. We do not have a premiere date as of now, but new reports state that the trailer will not be released before December 1, but it will make its way online by December 13, and The Last Jedi begins screening on December 14. Here is what the report has to say:

“While the exact online debut date for the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer remains buried, we know it will arrive no later than December 13th with Star Wars The Last Jedi. Now thanks to an official contest being hosted by the Mexican branch of Universal Pictures via their Jurassic World Facebook page, we know it will come no sooner than December 1st.”

The information comes from a newly revealed contest for Jurassic World 2, titled Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The contest is for fans living in Mexico and gives fans an exclusive “Jurassic Experience” and a chance to see their trailer way earlier. The contest ends on December 1, so there is no way that we will see the trailer before that date. The report gels with a few recent information from a licensing expo that suggests that the trailer for this movie shall arrive in December. Odds are, it will hit the screens a couple of days before Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Not a lot has been revealed about the Fallen Kingdom by the studio. We do know that the movie will have a volcanic eruption at its center. There is evidence that suggests that a rescue mission of some kind will be taking place. And it also sounds like the dinosaurs will be the ones in need of rescue and not the humans. Since this is the 5th movie in the franchise, it is good that director J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) is trying something new.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will be released in theaters on June 22, 2018. This will give Universal a lot of time to market this movie, with the first trailer arriving six months ahead of its release. Considering that the trailer is coming soon, we should be seeing some photos and should get some plot details in the coming weeks.
