Fans had mixed feelings about Suicide Squad and about how the notable baddie of The Joker was depicted by Jared Leto. However, the film still went ahead to rule the box office and bag an Oscar.

Leto was an oft-vocal defender of his role, stating various times that he was chopped down on the performance and that there was sufficient for a whole Joker film left on the editing room floor. In addition to this, now that David Ayer is pushing ahead with the Harley-driven Gotham City Sirens, the discussion from Leto has moved to whether or not the Joker could come back.

On the red carpet for The Defiant Ones, Leto prodded fans in an interview saying that he may comprehend what the news will be. He stated;

“I have no idea. I can’t confirm… maybe I know, but I can’t confirm nor deny. There are a lot of moving parts with that stuff and we’ll see what happens next.”

Margot Robbie will repeat her part as Harley Quinn in the spin-off, and she will lead the Siren group that comprises of Quinn, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy. Similar to Suicide Squad, Gotham City Sirens will be based on a group of more villainous characters, yet they will be viewed as the heroes.

Suicide Squad was written and directed by Ayer. What’s more, he has been roped in to return for Gotham City Sirens. For this film, he will just go about as the director.

Furthermore, Catwoman and Poison Ivy have showed up in past film incarnations, with Uma Thurman playing Ivy in Batman and Robin and Catwoman having showed up in three separate feature films that were; Batman Returns, where she was depicted by Michelle Pfeiffer; Catwoman, played by Halle Berry; and The Dark Knight Rises, essayed by Anne Hathaway.

The next inquiry has been around Leto and The Crown Prince since the summer blockbuster. In addition to this, keeping in mind that he has been exempted from the forthcoming Justice League production; the coherent inclusion for Sirens might be only a formality now, in view of the coyness that Leto left his reaction.

Justice League touches base in theaters on 17th November, 2017; The Flash on 16th March, 2018; Aquaman on 27th July, 2018; Shazam on 5th April, 2019; Cyborg on 3rd April, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on 24th July, 2020, giving a lot of DC action to come.

At present, Woman is ruling the box office, with Leto stating that he thought the film was splendid. He stated;

“I saw the film. I loved it. I thought it was incredible. They did such a good job. I watched Wonder Woman as a kid, and I really enjoyed it. I was on the road with my band, 30 Seconds To Mars and we rented out a theater and brought the whole crew. It was really fun. All of us enjoyed it.”
